Founded in 1903, the Club amalgamated with Easton Royal cricket club in the 1980s & has had teams in the Wiltshire County Cricket League since it's inception in the early 80s.
Since promotion from the Wilts League division 1 in 2001, we have had senior teams playing in both the West of England Premier League as well as the Wilts County League.
For the 2024 season, our 1st XI will be playing in the West of England Premier League Division 1, our 2nd XI in the Wiltshire County League Division 1 & our 3rd XI in Division 8.
We also have an extensive & lively youth setup with teams covering every age group from under 9s to under 19s.
Burbage Cricket Club was founded in 1903, playing social "friendlies" for many years. The present club is an amalgamation of 2 original clubs - Easton Royal which is about 2 miles from the present ground & Burbage. The amalgamation took place in the 1970s & the combined team has played in the Wiltshire League since it's inception.
The name of the ground & our logo - The Red Lion - came from the name of the pub that stood on the corner of the ground until it's closure in the 1980s. We still have playing members who played both before the 2 clubs joined forces.
